  whiskey dribbled out of his mouth like a bad point guard, a kindred spirit of a nefarious monster: this elixer, this poison always equals parts recrimination, retribution, and bitters. the drink split in equal amounts down his throat and across his jaw: inordinate complexity, yet still, a physical simplicity. slightly intoxicated, swimming in pools of mediocrity, he's mute in the worst ways: de[con]structive and obtuse. those tricks seem so insular, he thinks, sipping his whiskey more gingerly, and considers his actions' sincerity.
